Privacy
State of Transition is a personal blog written by me, who decides what happens to any personal data it processes. You can reach me at [email protected].
The site sets no cookies. It carries no advertising, no tracking pixels, no embeds and no third-party scripts. You are not profiled and no automated decisions are made about you.
Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives your IP address, the page you requested and basic details of the request, and uses them to deliver the site and protect it from attack. Cloudflare acts on my instructions and keeps those records under its own retention terms. It is based in the United States, so this involves a transfer outside the EEA.
Visitor statistics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read and which countries readers are in. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not follow you to other sites. What I see is aggregated and does not identify you.
Your theme choice. If you switch between the light and dark themes, your browser saves that one preference on your own device so the site can remember it. It is never sent to me or to anyone else, and clearing your browser data removes it.
